Opened an unusual hotel in the centre of Vienna
In the centre of the Austrian capital – Vienna, a few days ago, opened an unusual hotel Topazz, which is shaped like a big black cylinder. A distinctive feature of the new hotel, which attracts universal attention is the unusual facade of the building, decorated with fine mosaics and brown oval porthole Windows. Mosaic shimmering, creating the effect of a huge gemstone, and portholes, like Topaz, arranged in a checkerboard pattern on the facade of the building.
Design project belongs to the architectural office BWM Architekten und Partner. A five-story corner building at the intersection of two streets. The architects had a difficult task: on the area of 150 square meters to build the original building and with the most efficient use of this space. Eyewitnesses claim that the architectural Bureau has coped with the task perfectly.
